scb_admin_history |
(a district that included Khurja, and a town; see also Sikandrabad) Work was pioneered by Mrs Emily Pollen (Granny Pollen), and became the centre of a mass movement in which heads of villages and tribes asked missionaries to come and Christianise them. ZBMM also ran two day schools and a simple boarding school for the daughters of the poorer Christians.
