Admin history: | Edward Main was born in 1772. He was appointed as a missionary to the South Seas with the London Missionary Society, and sailed on 10 Aug 1796 aborad the Duff. They arrived at Tahiti on 6 Mar 1797. Leaving for Port Jackson on 31 Mar 1798, he arrived 14 May, and resigned from the Society. |
