Admin history: Amy Foster (nee Jackson) was born on 26 May 1856. She was appointed as a missionary with the London Missionary Society to Hong Kong, and sailed in 1878. She was married to Rev Arnold Foster, also an LMS missionary (Wuchang, China), on 22 June 1882 at Union Church, Hong Kong. Rev Foster was appointed Honorary Missionary to Hankow in 1884.
