August 1953 [First missionary doctor appointed to Papuan field, at Kapuna hospital 1948 - 1953]; Houre, rich inland villager who owns village and four wives, Orokolo; one of Houre's wives with children; leper patient recording for the Autralian Broadcasting Commission, Gemo Island; hospital cook, Gemo; father and son at ?Kumu Kumu near Aird Hill; Livingstone landing ashore [copy]. Events include: house warming party at Isuleilei. Activities include: weighing babies at baby clinic, Port Moresby c. 1930; men performing ceremonial dance in traditional costume; [Frederick William] Walker buying pearl shell from Papuan men.
