Groups include: mourners; missionaries by [Robert] Morrison's grave, Macao [Macau]; some LMS missionaries [including Griffith John] in Hankow [Hankou] with students of the Theological College and High School; Buddhist priests; lepers, Hia Kan; Chungking [Chongqing] preachers class, 1904. Other people include: peasants on field path; oldest member of LMS Church in Poklo [Boluo]; beggar, Canton [Guangzhou]; Dr Pau, house surgeon, Shanting Road Hospital, Shanghai. Activities featured include: stone masons working, Hen chow Hospital; Leper open-air service, ?Hsiao kau. Other places or buildings featured include: Pearl River, Customs Exmine Shed, Steamer Wharfs and landing, the old city, Hospital, Girls' and Women's School of the American Presbyterian Mission, matshed, ?Chan katy (inside view), and Sha kei, Canton; landing place, Fatshan [Foshan]; buckkilns and pagoda, Kwangtung [Guangdong]; Camoen's garden and statue and views over Macao; temple of Sai-Chui Hill; three mission houses at "Hsiao Chang" [?Siaochang]; Chungking chapel interior; Kulangsu, Amoy [Xiamen] looking towards Changchow [Zhangzhou]; Union Theological College, Peking [Beijing]; temple, North China.
