Records for the South India mission are broadly organised by linguistic area. This arrangement also applies to the reports series. Reports to1940 are therefore arranged into four separate series - Canarese, Telugu, Tamil and Travancore, then chronologically into yearly files and alphabetically by author. Reports written in January of each year, or where they specifically refer to the previous year, are included in the previous file. After 1940, reports relating to South India are found amongst the reports within the India division. These later reports are arranged alphabetically by author, and grouped approximately by decade. |
