Groups include: teachers at a forest village. People include: woman wearing ear-ring, necklaces, and bangles; Kalulu (1st baptised Christian in the region); Rev. Gorden Riley (and 2 carriers wading through swamps on the way to Ponkwe); Elizabeth Riley, Ruth Poritt, Mary Livingstone [later ?Mary Cipingu] and Joy (November 1949); Cipingu's twins; 2 orphans. Activities include: sounding the horn which calls people to church at Chikwekwe; preparing gardens. Buildings include: classrooms and dormitories. Also includes: piano accordion ?barrels being transported. Prints received from individuals including: [Arthur Chirgwin;] [Norman] Poritt; [Frank] Legg; [Frances] Bowers.
