Groups include: Aitutaki Church Council with delegates from other islands at Centenary Celebrations including Queen Tamatoa, descendant of the Chief who received the Gospel in 1821; Puihara, deacon, Raiatea, descendant of Vahapata, one of the pastors who came with John Williams, 1821; Tebeta, descendant of Papeiha, the other Pastor who came with John Williams in 1821; Materau [Pastor] and family [also including Rev Henry Bond James]; pastors and their wives including Materau, Teina, [henry Bond James]' Isaaka, Papa, Tau, George ?Turori; group re-enacting teaching the heathen the letters of the alphabet with Papeiha and Vahapata in play representing the arrival of the missionaries. Events include: Centenary Celebrations, Aitutaki, Cook Islands, 1921. Activites include: native dancing, Thursday 27 October, 1921, crowd watching dancing including man drinking coconut and policeman removing little girl; children joining in native dancing.
