Auxiliary bodies or Societies of the London Missionary Society were regional, and often raised funds for the Society.

The records of LMS Auxiliaries are not part of the official archive of the Council for World Mission/London Missionary Society. If they survive, they are often found in local County Record Offices. However, the following series of Auxiliary Records were transferred to SOAS Library from Dr Williams' Library, except for the Minutes of the Kendal Auxiliary, which were given directly to the Council for World Mission in 1998.
