scb_admin_history Born in Switzerland, Pierre Nicoud (d.1953) spent most of his early years in Paris. He joined the Algiers Mission Band in 1919. He was involved in itinerant ministry and also on the administrative and business side of the mission, serving on the Executive Committee. He and his wife managed the French YMCA Canteen in Rue Michelet, Algiers, during the war years. [Source: obituary in A Thirsty Land, no. 104.]
