An envelope of letters from Lilias Trotter intended for use in the early journals. Mabel Grautoff collated them at the request of Mrs Margaret Egerton, asking that they be kept with the archives at Dar Naama, ready for future use. They comprise:
1. List of Lilias Trotter's Journals, from March 1888 to May 1889, 'before Lily's return to England' (list presumably compiled by Mrs Hugh Egerton (ie. Margaret A. Egerton)?;
2. double page letter dated Easter Monday;
3. double page written from Pension Anglo Suisse, Algiers, April 26;
4- 10. letters written from 39 rue Dupuch, Algiers, some dated, including May 15, May 22, June 6, July 12, July 23; August 25- Sep 8;
11. photograph, St Eujene?, Algiers, 1888?;
12. letter, January 5 1889 [first page is missing];
13. letter, May 5 1889 [a year since they moved into this house in rue Dupuch];
