M. Haarseth was a prospector of gold and copper in South and Central Africa who became, in 1909, a recruiter in Portuguese South Africa for the Witwatersrand Native Labour Association. During his time as a recruiter he was chiefly based in the Angonia district of what is now Mozambique. |
