Acrobats and musicians can be seen entertaining the crowds, with the public sitting on the floor outside and royalty watching from inside a building. The style shows a mix of older Burmese painting traditions, with more modern influences, as can also be seen in paintings by artists such as Paw Oo Thet - also in the SOAS collections.
