The five animals in this Shwe-chi-hto represent the previous lives of the Buddha and his qualities - the elephant is his strength, the stallion his swiftness, the peacock represents the sun and its elegant vision, the lion his bravery, and the Hintha bird, having the sweetest and strongest voice, represents his voice.
