Acknowledging Z/35 and Z/36 of 27 and 29 Jun. Is most interested in Hart's account of Peking conditions when Wade left and is sure Hart will get matters straight. British public have no knowledge of situation and a war with China would be unpopular. 'Alpha' and 'Beta' still held up at Aden.
