Brief comment on Director's meeting regarding Berkeley - Stanley's name not to be mentioned as arousing parliamentary opposition in connection with plan of splitting up territory with 2 or 3 men like Berkeley. After meeting, saw Sir Phillip Currie at F.O., regarding securing Berkeley's services. Latter will be useful for F.O. Connections, particularly in gaining taxation from British Indians. Sir Percy Anderson in separate conversation quite favourable.
