People include: Dr. [Neville Arthur] and Mrs Andersen on the steps of their house at Kapuna at time of resignation. August 1953 [First missionary doctor appointed to Papuan field, at Kapuna hospital 1948 - 1953]; Houre, rich inland villager who owns village and four wives, Orokolo; one of Houre's wives with children; leper patient recording for the Autralian Broadcasting Commission, Gemo Island; hospital cook, Gemo; father and son at ?Kumu Kumu near Aird Hill; Livingstone landing ashore [copy]. Events include: house warming party at Isuleilei. Activities include: weighing babies at baby clinic, Port Moresby c. 1930; men performing ceremonial dance in traditional costume; [Frederick William] Walker buying pearl shell from Papuan men. Places or buildings include: Old church and new unfinished church, Isuleilei, Fife Bay; Mogubu house, with lady visitors in front of the garden; mission house, Aird Hill; students' cottages, Vatorata; tree house, Veiburi; teacher's house, Rigo.
